Repair of pavement cracks
Cracks are sealed in accordance with the General Technical Specification OST D-05.03.15 ‘Repair (by sealing) of longitudinal and transversal cracks on bituminous pavements’, and with the General Technical Specification OST D-05.03.16 ‘Repair (by sealing) of longitudinal and transversal cracks on concrete pavements.’ The repair work basically consists of widening (milling) existing cracks in bituminous or concrete pavements to create a 12-15 mm wide and around 25 mm-deep gap with vertical walls and a quasi-rectangular cross-section, and subsequently filling this gap with the filling mass. In this way, the tightness and/or continuity of the bituminous and concrete pavement is regained.
We use a mobile STRASSMAYR S-FF 12/F miller to mill the gaps, and a STRASSMAYR RWK 500/600 filler with a heater to fill the gaps. The machine is designed for the preparation and distribution of filling and sealing masses heated up to 180oC.
Repair of concrete pavements
Solvent-free materials are used for reparation of concrete pavements. Materials include 2-component mortar based on epoxies.
Usage:
For use inside and outside, as well as for transport roads and production-storage surfaces. For repair of concrete surface defects, in particular joint edges, broken corners and for re-profiling. The mortar is used mainly on high-load concrete transport surfaces, such as motorways, factory floors and air transport surfaces.
